Welcome to Alaska's Lone Spruce Lake Lodge

Lone Spruce Lodge offers all the comforts of home in the last American frontier.
Rustic and real, Lone Spruce is nestled between the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain
ranges, overlooking beautiful Thirty Mile Lake. Your visitors are likely to include a
variety of ducks, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, hawks, falcons, and other wildlife
native to this lovely and verdant panorama of tranquility. As you enjoy your morning
coffee, you may see a moose cow with her spring calf (or calves) munching on marsh
grass.

Beckoning from beyond the lake across the tops of black spruce, birch, and poplars,
stunning Castle Mountain dares you to enjoy its immensity. Mountain sheep can
occasionally be seen traversing the craggy terrain of this magnificent mountain
during the summer months. Whether enjoying the view from the breakfast table,
living area, or while relaxing on the 40 foot cedar deck, it's an awe-inspiring
affirmation of the majesty in unspoiled beauty. The dawning of each morning never
fails to provide something wonderful from Mother Nature!Would you like to see even more of the natural beauty that Alaska has to offer?

Lone Spruce is located just off Glenn Highway, which was designated as one of
Alaska's most scenic byways in 2002. As quoted from the website for the National
Scenic Byway Program, “Immerse yourself in Alaska on the Glenn Highway, where
geology, culture, and scenery come together to create majestic and rugged
landscapes.”

Your vacation retreat comes equipped with creature-comfort amenities to ensure a
restful and memorable stay. Recline and elevate in one of the living area's comfy
recliners after a strenuous day. Better yet, treat tired muscles to the therapeutic
pulsations of the master suite's jet tub. After dining and toasting another beautiful
Alaskan sunset, retire to peaceful dreams snuggled between cloud-soft linens.
